2015 Week 6 College Baseball Top-25 Rankings (March 16-22)

Texas Christian takes over the top spot in this week’s top-25 rankings on the strength of a 4-0 week. Head coach Jim Schlossnagle’s pitching staff was stellar vs. Loyola Marymount and Baylor, allowing six runs during the week to ascend to the top spot.

Texas A&M, the lone undefeated team in Division-1 baseball at 21-0, moves up to the second spot after a 5-0 week. The Aggies handled UT Pan American in a two-game mid-week set before dominating SEC-West foe Auburn in the opening weekend of conference play.

Florida, LSU and Vanderbilt round out the top-five, giving the SEC four of the top five positions in the nation. South Carolina, UCLA, Virginia, Rice and Arizona State complete this week’s top-ten.

Oregon, ranked tenth last week, suffered a 1-4 week and dropped out of the top-25. Mississippi State, Arizona and College of Charleston, also, disappeared from the rankings following sub-par performances.

California, who took two of three games from then-#10 Oregon, makes its 2015 debut in the rankings as does Missouri, who capped a 5-0 week with a three-game sweep at Georgia. ACC foes Louisville and Miami-FL return to the top-25 after 4-1 and 5-0 weekly records, respectively.
