Oregon State continues to be the standard-bearer for the 2017 college baseball season after nipping Saint Mary’s in a mid-week tilt and sweeping Stanford on the road. After taking the top spot from TCU, nearly, a month ago, the Beavers, who won back-to-back College World Series titles in 2006 and 2007, look to be in top form as the team to beat in the PAC-12 and in the post-season and have carved out a school-record 19-game winning streak.

TCU remains in second following a 5-0 week that included a two-game mauling of UT Rio Grande Valley and a bizarre sweep of Kansas State that saw the Horned Frogs and Jayhawks go to extra innings in the first two games without scoring a run.

Clemson stands pat in third with a solid 4-1 effort in Week 7. The Tigers defeated Furman and Winthrop in mid-week contests before taking two of three on the road at Russ Chandler Stadium over Georgia Tech.

Louisville holds firm in fourth after an easy win over Western Kentucky and a series victory over ACC foe and 2015 College World Series champion Virginia.

North Carolina makes its debut in the top-five with an impressive 4-0 week, dispatching Sun Belt leader and 2016 College World Series champion Coastal Carolina and sweeping Florida State at Dick Howser Stadium.

2016 CWS runner-up Arizona posted a 4-0 week, nipping WAC leader Grand Canyon and sweeping Southern California at Hi Corbett Field to move over .500 in the PAC-12.

Oklahoma moves into the top-ten, in seventh, after a series victory over Texas Tech, keeping the Sooners in striking distance of TCU and the top spot in the Big 12.

Texas Tech falls three spots to eighth on the heels of a 3-2 week. The Red Raiders swept SWAC West leader Texas Southern in easy fashion before their series loss to Oklahoma.

Auburn vaults eight places into ninth, making their first appearance in the top-ten in over a decade. The Tigers edged Alabama in a mid-week, non-conference matchup in Montgomery, AL before taking two of three at home from South Carolina.

South Carolina rounds out the top-ten, as the two-time College World Series champions dropped three positions following a 2-2 week. The Gamecocks dismantled The Citadel before their series loss at Auburn,

Elsewhere, St. John’s and Central Florida moves up four places to 11th and 12th, respectively, Kentucky climbs five spots to 13th, Southern Mississippi, also, ascends five spots to 14th and Florida reenters the rankings at #15 after their road sweep of Missouri.

Wake Forest moves to 16th from 23rd, Mississippi State, fresh off a sweep of Ole Miss, debuts at #17, LSU plummets ten places to 18th and Virginia and Florida Gulf Coast drop nine spots to 19th and 20th, respectively.

Wright State and Arkansas remain in 21st and 22nd, Morehead State makes their 2017 debut at #23, Missouri State does the same at #24 and South Florida, barely, hangs on in the rankings, retreating 11 places to 25th.
