Despite crazy finishes during Week 4 in the NFL, there was, relatively, minor movement on the all-time top-50 rankings. The most noteworthy advance up the league’s statistical lists was from a future Hall of Famer who was three days shy of his 39th birthday, Oakland Raiders free safety Charles Woodson. The 18-year veteran from the University of Michigan snared his 62nd career interception midway through the fourth quarter of the Raiders’ 22-20 loss at Chicago. Woodson moved into the top-10 of the interceptions category, tying Hall of Famer Dick LeBeau and Dave Brown for 9th in league history. Next on the list for Woodson to pass are: another Hall of Famer, Ronnie Lott, and Darren Sharper (T-7) with 63, Ed Reed (6th) with 64 and Ken Riley (5th) with 65.

Making his first start since a 51-20 loss to Chicago on 04 November 2012 as the quarterback of the Tennessee Titans, Matt Hasselbeck got the call in place of the injured Andrew Luck and led the Indianapolis Colts to a 16-13 overtime win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. For his efforts, Hasselbeck moved past Jim Hart for 19th in pass attempts (5,121) and threw his 204th career touchdown pass, one better than Jim Everett for 36th place all-time. With a short week for the Colts and the status of Luck uncertain, Hasselbeck might get another start – this time at Houston against the Texans.

Elsewhere, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning passed Hall of Famer Joe Montana for 13th on the passing yards list (40,731) and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson tied Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald as well as Jerome Bettis and Priest Holmes for 24th place all-time in touchdowns with 94.

Three players broke into the top-50 in particular categories this past week: Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco passed Jeff George and Jim Harbaugh for 50th place in passes completed (2,315). Meanwhile, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson moved past Amari Toomer and Ricky Proehl while tying Herman Moore for 48th position in receptions with 670 and Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby booted his 219th career field goal, tying Bruce Gossett for 50th.
