For the fourth week in a row, Texas A&M leads the college baseball top-25 rankings. Despite a hard-luck 3-2 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday, the Aggies (33-3, 11-3 SEC-W) used solid pitching to keep their top ranking and, after scoring, only, nine runs vs. Rice and against the visiting Bulldogs through Saturday, got a pair of grand slams in a 13-5 win on Sunday.

UCLA creeps up to the second position after a series win over cross-town rival Southern California at Dedeaux Field. LSU’s 4-1 week moves Paul Mainieri’s club to third, Arizona State takes over fourth despite a mid-week loss to UNLV and Louisville, the class of the ACC, cracks the top-five after finishing a sweep of Virginia and taking two of three at Duke.

Vanderbilt suffered through a 1-3 week, including a series loss at home to Mississippi, to drop four spots to sixth. TCU, barely, hangs on to seventh, despite losing two of three at Kansas State. Florida breezed through a 4-0 week which included a 22-2 drubbing of Stetson and outscoring South Carolina 38-10 in a three-game barrage. UC Santa Barbara remains in ninth after a 3-1 week and Miami-Florida rounds out the top-ten after a perfect Week 9, capped by a three-game blitz of Virginia Tech at Mark Light Field.

Big Ten teams make big leaps this week as Illinois cruised to a 4-0 campaign to advance six spots to 11th and Iowa catapults eight places to 14th, taking advantage of tough weeks by a handful of teams and a series win at 15th-ranked Maryland.

#16 Nevada, #19 Rice, #20 Virginia, #21 Central Florida and #23 San Diego State all fall out of the top-25 while Missouri and Nebraska return to the rankings at #21 and #23, respectively.

Making their 2015 debuts are Coastal Carolina (22nd), UNC Wilmington (24th) and UC Irvine (25th).

This weekend features no weekend matchups of ranked teams, but series to watch include #10 Miami traveling to Davenport Field to face struggling Virginia, #11 Illinois battling Indiana in Champaign, IL and #22 Coastal Carolina hosting red-hot Radford, who had their 12-game winning streak snapped on Sunday.
