My Top-100 “Should’ve Made The Top-10” Songs

March 27, 2015

top10My friend, Rich Appel, asks a bunch of us old radio-types, every year, to compile our favorite songs that never made it to Billboard’s Top-10 rankings. I submitted 100 songs and, while I attempted to limit my selections to only those that were released as singles, there are exceptions. (Spoiler alert: there are no Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Van Halen or ZZ Top tunes listed). I have, also, provided the peak chart position and the year reached (not necessarily its release year. As always, if you have a suggestion or believe I omitted a song you think I should have included, leave a comment. This isn’t an official list, only personal preferences. Have a little fun with this and some of the songs might surprise you…..
