Morin scored, twice more, at 7:53 on the power play assisted by Sederback and at 10:08 for his hat trick, to close the middle stanza with Ponaganset firmly in control at 7-1.

Sederback extended the Chieftains’ lead to 8-1 with his 7th goal of the season, assisted by Morin who, in turn, tallied his 10th goal of the year less than a minute later on another power play opportunity for a 9-1 advantage.
