New Logs 10 September 2014 (Indianapolis FM DX)

September 10, 2014

A solid early Wednesday morning northern duct featured the usual suspects from Fort Wayne, IN and Lima, OH as well as a minor opening from the east that brought Cincinnati & Dayton signals into The Circle city – despite the irritating IBOC hash from many Indy stations.

Deciding, at 3:45AM ET to shut it down at 4AM, I was pleasantly surprised to catch my first duct into Detroit, which netted a pair of signals and got a bonus catch from Lansing.

Excited, I kept at it but, by 5AM, Tr had pretty much disappeared.

Met data: 65-67°, partly-mostly cloudy skies, light & variable winds

New logs:

0755Z 102.7 WPZR Mt. Clemens, MI 50K-B 259.5 miles
0813Z 104.3 WOMC Detroit, MI 190K-B 248.5 miles
0826Z 106.1 WJXQ Charlotte, MI 49K-B 202.7 miles

73!
